DetailsWhy these eight together
They aren't a random collection. They're what actually breaks in a modern home or small office, and they're the jobs that fall between the specialists.
A plumber won't hang your TV. An IT company won't drive out for one laptop. An appliance shop won't look at your dryer vent, which is usually the actual problem. A camera installer won't fix the Wi-Fi the cameras depend on. Everyone has a minimum charge, and every minimum charge is mostly the cost of the drive.
Bundling these eight under one visit removes most of that waste. It's why the typical job here isn't one task — it's a list.
Where the line is
I'm not a licensed contractor. Work is performed inside California's Business & Professions Code §7048 exemption: projects under $1,000 in labor and materials, requiring no building permit, performed without employees. That covers an enormous amount of genuinely useful work.
It does not cover new electrical circuits, panel work, gas lines, repiping, water heaters, sewer lines, structural work, HVAC or anything permitted. When your job is on that side of the line, you'll be told on the phone — free, before you've spent anything — and handed names of licensed contractors I'd use myself. Full explanation of the rules here.
How a job actually goes
- 1
Tell me what's wrong
Call, text a photo, or fill in the form. Photos of the model plate or the problem area cut the guesswork enormously.
- 2
Get a real price range
You get a range before I drive out, not after. If it's a job that needs a licensed contractor, I'll tell you that on the phone instead of wasting your time.
- 3
I show up in the window
You get a text when I'm on the way. Shoe covers, drop cloths, and the work area left cleaner than I found it.
- 4
Pay when it works
Flat price agreed up front. Card, Zelle, cash or check. Parts I install carry the manufacturer warranty and my labor is guaranteed for 90 days.
